Billing / Cancellation / Refund Policy

How paid listings, annual and monthly plans, cancellations, refunds, credits, advertising packages, and featured placements work on PCB Guide.

Introduction

This Billing / Cancellation / Refund Policy explains how PCB Guide handles paid listings, featured placements, advertising packages, sponsorships, partner placements, setup work, billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, credits, and makegoods.

This policy applies to paid services offered by PCB Guide, including monthly paid listings, discounted annual listings, featured placements, advertising opportunities, sponsored placements, partner listings, promotional packages, custom setup work, and related business services.

This policy works together with the PCB Guide Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If a separate written agreement, invoice, order form, or signed contract applies to a specific service, that separate written agreement may control for that service.

Plain-English summary: Paid PCB Guide services may be monthly or annual. Cancellations stop future renewal charges after processing, but already-delivered listing time, advertising time, setup work, published placements, and completed promotional work are generally not automatically refundable unless required by law or agreed in writing.

1. About Paid PCB Guide Services

PCB Guide may offer free listings, paid listings, featured placements, advertising packages, sponsorships, promotional opportunities, partner placements, custom setup help, and related services for businesses, venues, event organizers, artists, and other organizations.

Paid services may include:

  • Basic, Premium, or Featured business listings
  • Featured placement on directory or category pages
  • Sponsored or promoted content
  • Advertising packages
  • Newsletter, social media, or campaign promotion if offered
  • Listing setup, editing, formatting, or optimization help
  • Custom promotional work
  • Other business, advertising, or partnership services PCB Guide offers from time to time

Availability, pricing, package features, placement, display order, included services, and promotional benefits may vary by plan, page, category, timing, inventory, or written agreement.

2. Free and Community Listings

PCB Guide may display free, community, unclaimed, or informational listings at its discretion.

Free or unclaimed listings do not create a paid relationship between PCB Guide and the listed business, venue, event, artist, or organization.

PCB Guide may edit, categorize, limit, remove, update, or decline free listings at its discretion.

Free listings may show fewer details, fewer links, fewer media items, or fewer promotional benefits than paid listings.

3. Paid Listing Plans

PCB Guide may offer paid listing plans on a monthly basis, a discounted annual basis, or another billing structure described at checkout, on an invoice, in an order form, or in a written agreement.

Monthly plans are generally billed each billing period until canceled according to this policy or the applicable agreement.

Annual plans may be billed upfront for a yearly term and may be offered at a discounted rate compared with monthly pricing.

Plan names, benefits, prices, and included features may change over time. The current plan details presented at signup, checkout, invoice, order form, or written agreement will apply to that purchase unless updated by mutual agreement or as otherwise allowed by the applicable terms.

4. Advertising, Sponsorships, and Featured Placements

Advertising, sponsorships, and featured placements may be sold separately from ordinary business listings.

These services may include placement on specific pages, highlighted listing design, category placement, social promotion, newsletter promotion, event promotion, campaign packages, or other promotional opportunities.

PCB Guide does not guarantee any specific number of views, clicks, leads, bookings, calls, sales, revenue, search rankings, social engagement, or business results unless a specific guarantee is clearly stated in writing.

Advertising or sponsored placement may be affected by page design, inventory, seasonal demand, user behavior, listing quality, business category, and technical or operational limits.

5. Prices, Invoices, and Payment Terms

Prices should be reviewed before purchase or approval. Pricing may appear on a checkout page, invoice, written proposal, order form, email agreement, or other written communication from PCB Guide.

By purchasing, approving, or continuing a paid service, you agree to pay the stated price and any applicable taxes, fees, or charges described at the time of purchase or agreement.

Payment may be collected by PCB Guide or by a third-party payment processor. Third-party processors may have their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, fees, and dispute procedures.

PCB Guide does not intend to store full credit card numbers directly on the website.

6. Monthly Billing

Monthly services may continue until canceled, expired, suspended, replaced, or otherwise ended according to this policy or the applicable written agreement.

If a monthly plan renews automatically, renewal terms should be clearly provided before purchase or acceptance.

Cancellation of a monthly plan stops future renewal charges after the cancellation is processed, but it does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period, already-delivered services, active listing time, setup work, published placement, or promotional work already performed.

7. Annual Billing

Annual services may be billed upfront for a yearly term and may be offered at a discounted annual price.

If an annual plan renews automatically, renewal terms should be clearly provided before purchase or acceptance.

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, cancellation of an annual plan stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund for the current annual term, active listing time, setup work, published placement, advertising time, or promotional work already performed.

If legally required renewal notices apply to a specific annual or long-term automatic renewal, PCB Guide will work to provide notices consistent with applicable law and the information available to us.

8. Automatic Renewals

Some PCB Guide paid services may renew automatically only if renewal terms are clearly provided and accepted.

Automatic renewal terms may include:

  • The price or renewal rate
  • The renewal period
  • The billing frequency
  • How to cancel
  • When cancellation takes effect
  • Whether the current period is refundable or nonrefundable
  • Any applicable deadline for cancellation before renewal

If a service includes automatic renewal, you are responsible for keeping billing and contact information current so that renewal, billing, cancellation, and notice communications can reach you.

9. Cancellation

You may request cancellation of a paid listing, advertising package, sponsorship, or other paid service by contacting PCB Guide at contact@pcbguide.com, unless a specific checkout, billing portal, payment processor, or written agreement provides another cancellation method.

Please include enough information for us to identify the service you want to cancel, such as:

  • Business name
  • Contact name
  • Email address used for the service
  • Listing or campaign name
  • Billing plan or package if known
  • Requested cancellation date
  • Any relevant invoice, receipt, or order information

Cancellation requests must be received and processed before they can take effect. If a billing portal or third-party processor is used, cancellation may also need to be completed through that platform.

Cancellation generally stops future renewals or future scheduled services. It does not automatically remove all public listing content, undo already-published work, or create a refund unless required by law or agreed in writing.

10. Refunds

Refunds are handled case by case and are at PCB Guide’s discretion unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

Already-delivered services are generally not refundable. This may include:

  • Active paid listing time
  • Featured placement time
  • Advertising time
  • Published sponsored placement
  • Completed promotional work
  • Custom setup work
  • Design, editing, writing, formatting, or listing optimization work
  • Published event, business, guide, or promotional content
  • Time during which a paid listing, ad, sponsorship, or placement was live or available

PCB Guide may, in its discretion, offer a refund, partial refund, credit, makegood, listing extension, placement adjustment, correction, or other resolution when appropriate.

A refund request does not guarantee a refund. If you believe there was a billing error, duplicate charge, technical issue, or service problem, contact us as soon as possible at contact@pcbguide.com.

11. Credits and Makegoods

A credit or makegood is an alternative to a refund and may be offered at PCB Guide’s discretion.

Examples may include:

  • Additional listing time
  • Corrected or adjusted placement
  • Replacement advertising time
  • Listing edits or improvements
  • A future credit toward another PCB Guide service

Credits and makegoods are not cash refunds unless we clearly agree otherwise in writing.

12. Failed Payments and Late Payments

If a payment fails, is reversed, is disputed, or becomes overdue, PCB Guide may pause, downgrade, remove, suspend, or limit the related paid service until payment is resolved.

PCB Guide may contact you about failed payments, overdue invoices, billing updates, or payment issues.

You are responsible for any amounts owed for services you purchased, approved, or continued to use, subject to the applicable agreement and law.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact PCB Guide first at contact@pcbguide.com so we can review the issue.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute may result in the related listing, advertisement, placement, sponsorship, or service being paused, removed, suspended, or reviewed.

PCB Guide may provide invoices, emails, order forms, screenshots, listing records, service records, or other information to a payment processor, bank, or card network as part of responding to a payment dispute.

14. Package Changes and Price Changes

PCB Guide may update package names, features, prices, included benefits, and advertising opportunities over time.

Changes may apply to new purchases, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, or future billing periods. When appropriate, PCB Guide will try to provide notice before material changes apply to an existing paid service.

If you upgrade or downgrade a plan, the billing adjustment, timing, and feature changes may depend on the checkout process, invoice, written agreement, or payment platform used.

15. No Guaranteed Results

PCB Guide works to provide useful local discovery, directory, advertising, and promotional opportunities, but we do not guarantee specific business results.

PCB Guide does not guarantee:

  • Search engine ranking
  • Social media reach
  • Website traffic
  • Clicks
  • Calls
  • Bookings
  • Sales
  • Revenue
  • Foot traffic
  • Newsletter engagement
  • Ad performance
  • Placement above another listing unless clearly agreed in writing

Advertising and listing performance can be affected by seasonality, user behavior, business category, competition, weather, local events, content quality, pricing, business operations, and many other factors outside PCB Guide’s control.

16. Business Authorization

PCB Guide may require proof that you are authorized to purchase, manage, change, claim, cancel, or request billing changes for a business, listing, event, venue, artist, advertiser, or organization.

If we cannot verify authority, we may delay, reject, limit, or reverse requested changes until the issue is resolved.

17. Relationship to Other Policies

This policy works together with the PCB Guide Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Copyright / DMCA Contact page, Advertising / Sponsored Listings Disclosure, and any applicable written agreement.

If there is a conflict between this policy and a signed written agreement for a specific paid service, the signed written agreement may control for that specific service.

If you use a third-party payment, booking, ticketing, advertising, social media, or analytics platform, that third party’s terms and policies may also apply.

18. Changes to This Policy

PCB Guide may update this Billing / Cancellation / Refund Policy from time to time.

If we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of the page. Material changes may also be communicated by website notice, email, invoice note, checkout update, or other appropriate method.

Your continued use of paid PCB Guide services after an updated policy is posted or provided means you accept the updated policy, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
